FAQs

Q - What type of wax do you use in your candle?

A - We chose Coco-Soy wax blend for our candles and wax melts for many reasons. Coco-Soy wax is non-toxic, renewable, and all natural , so you don't breath in the harmful vapors, chemicals that paraffin wax produces. Another benefit Soy provides is it smells great when mixed with a good fragrance. Coco-Soy wax burns more cleanly and for a longer period of time.

 

Q - What kind of fragrances do you use?

A - We use premium, fragrance oils with a hint of essential oils in our products. All our products have a higher percentage of fragrance oils that the wax can hold. It may seem overpowering on the first sniff but as you burn, the scent will flow evenly. All our fragrances are clean and phthalate free. 


Q - Do you use cotton wick or wood wicks?

A - Currently we are using lead-free, slow burning cotton wicks. 


Q - How do I ensure a perfect burn?

Q - Why are there wet spots on my candle? Will the wet spots affect the candle?

A - Soy wax tend to release natural oils as it cures - this is completely natural. You can take a clean tissue/paper towel and wipe it off before burning your candle. You will see no difference in the candle burning at all. It is a good way to tell if a candle is really made with pure, all-natural soy wax.

 

Q - What is the white frosting on my candle?

A - Soy wax will frost with temperature and moisture changes, or as the candle gets old. This has no effect on the candle performance or the fragrance load when burned.  

 

Q - Why do I need to trim the wicks? 

A - Trimming the wick is very important because this ensures that the candle flame doesn't get too high. Also the candle is not burning at a high temperature. Always burn your candle until the perimeter of your container on your first burn. This will help to get an even pool and prevent tunneling. 

 

Candle Care

  • For the best quality burn, keep the wick trimmed at ¼ inch every time you burn your candle. When you first get your Aromatic Creations candle, the wick is trimmed for the first use. 

 

  • Allow the top layer of the candle to melt and form the pool completely all the way to the edge, this will help in giving an even burn each time and prevent tunneling. Soy wax has a memory so getting a full pool is very important. 

 

  • Optimal burn time is ~3hrs, no more than 4 hours at a time.

 

  • Please keep lit candles away from children and pets.

 

  • Do not leave your burning candles unattended. Also, when candles are lit, jars will become hot, please do not touch the jar.

 

  • Please keep your candles away from items that can catch fire, draft and on a heat resistant surface.

 

  • When you reach ½ inch of wax at the bottom of your jar, it’s time for a new Candle. You can always clean out the rest of the wax and reuse the jars.

  • What is this store’s return and exchange policy?

    • All Sales are final! Returns are accepted if we mistakenly sent you the wrong item or your candles are damaged during shipping. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. We pride in the service we provide to our customers and will always do what is fair.

 

  • Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

    • Currently, we are only providing shipping within the US. If your order is for outside US, please contact us prior to purchasing.

 

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    • We use USPS Standard shipping which takes about 5-8 business day. Since our candles are carefully hand-poured and made fresh, your order will ship within 5-8 business days of your order placement. Orders placed on weekends/holidays or custom/made-to-order purchases may take a bit longer. We will keep you updated, should there be a delay.

 

  • What if something is wrong with my order?

    • If you have a problem with an order or need to make a change to an already placed order, please contact the store directly via Contact page and someone from the team will reach out to you.
